The Santa Clara residence is a new 3000sf residence located just steps away from bustling Abbot Kinney Blvd. The design is inspired by the industrial buildings of the early 1900’s in Los Angeles with it’s clean and raw exterior, brick highlights and bow-truss ceiling. A gated walkway shoots up the side of the property and house to a brick-lined entryway where a black steel-framed glass door swings open to an intimately-scaled entrance hall with radiant heated polished concrete floors.
The cozy-compact foyer explodes into the voluminous main living space with staggering 30-foot high exposed wood bow truss ceiling with vast expanses of white walls for bouncing light and displaying artwork. An open stair leads up to a loft/den that leads to the inspired master suite. The backyard leads to a detached music studio above the garage.
