RETAIL STORE DESIGN
Located in the heart of the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco, the design for Burton Snowboards transforms what was once a Victorian apartment into a mountain inspired retail store.
The 1500sf interior plays tribute to Burton’s Vermont roots while also drawing inspiration from the colorful Haight district. Features include a sugar shack and a ski lodge inspired lounge with a vintage fireplace and wood log wall. A model train traverses the store with scenery depicting the journey from Vermont to California.
The store design incorporates reclaimed and sustainable materials while highlighting the vibrant merchandise and graphics iconic to the Burton name.
